Verra Approves New Methodology for Improved Forest Management Activities

We're excited to announce that Verra has approved a new Improved Forest Management methodology for use in its Verified Carbon Standard program. The methodology, jointly developed by American Forest Foundation (AFF), The Nature Conservancy (TNC), and TerraCarbon, utilizes an innovative dynamic performance benchmark to quantify the benefits of improved forest practices compared to business as usual practices. TNC and AFF will use methodology to account for the benefits of improved forest management practices of forest owners enrolled in the Family Forest Carbon Program.
