TerraCarbon is hiring a soil scientist and NBS consultant to join our Agricultural Carbon team

TerraCarbon is looking to hire for two positions on our Agricultural Carbon team, one for a soil scientist and one for a nature-based solutions consultant.

Soil Scientist
The ideal candidate has expertise in soil carbon science and measurement in agricultural settings, as well as experience with one or more of the following: grazing systems, agricultural and/or savanna landscapes in Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Voluntary Carbon Market.

The soil scientist would support the design, implementation, and monitoring of nature-based climate solutions on croplands, grasslands, and agroforestry systems around the world. While soil carbon monitoring is at the heart of our team’s work, this role will require wearing many hats to advise on all aspects of project development, to execute on a variety of deliverables, and to work with a range of clients and stakeholders.

Nature-Based Solutions Consultant

We are looking for a broad contributor who has knowledge of the Voluntary Carbon Market and is comfortable collaborating across teams, working on multiple projects and topics at once, and learning new skills and information. The position’s primary focus would be to support agricultural carbon projects, so knowledge of soil carbon sequestration, regenerative agriculture practices, agricultural carbon methodologies, or related is a plus.
