• Afforestation/Reforestation (A/R)—converting non-forested land to forested land
• Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD)—protecting and preventing the release of carbon stored in existing forests which are at risk of deforestation or degradation
• Improved Forest Management (IFM) — implementing management practices to increase carbon stocks in existing forests
• Peatland Restoration and Conservation (PRC) – restoring or conserving peatlands to reduce emissions caused by drainage
