TerraCarbon speaks at Atlanta forum on Forest Carbon sponsored by The Nature Conservancy and Georgia Power

On June 18th, The Nature Conservancy and Georgia Power hosted the forum “Forests: A Critical Part of the Climate Change Solution”. Scott Settelmyer, Managing Director and co-founder of TerraCarbon, presented on “Investing in REDD”, focusing on investment advantages and considerations of projects which Reduce Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD). The forum brought together major U.S. companies, environmental organizations, state and local government officials, and other influential groups to discuss the critical role that reducing emissions from deforestation will play in solving the climate change problem.
