REDD Methodology Modules Training Workshop on December 6th in Durban

On Tuesday, December 6th, with the support of Avoided Deforestation Partners, Winrock International, Climate Focus and Terra Carbon will host an open training workshop at COP17 in Durban, South Africa on the REDD Methodology Modules. There is no fee to attend the workshop. The workshop is supported by a guidance document that is available here: http://adpartners.org/pdf/ADP_Modules_Guidance.pdf.
The workshop will be a longer version of a similar workshop and webinar held in September 2011 that was booked to capacity. If you are interested in participating please RSVP to Anne Haynes (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) by Sunday 4th December.
The REDD Methodology Modules were developed under the sponsorship of Avoided Deforestation Partners to estimate emission reductions from projects that Reduce Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD). The modules are the most comprehensive REDD methodology to date, and were approved under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) in December 2010.
