REDD Methodology Module Revision Approved by VCS

The Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) has approved a revision to the REDD Methodological Module: Estimation of baseline carbon stock changes and greenhouse gas emissions from unplanned deforestation (VMD0007). The revision was developed by The Field Museum with the assistance of TerraCarbon, and provides project developers with the option to estimate baseline emissions using the observed relationship between deforestation and population.
The baseline module is part of the comprehensive set of REDD Methodology Modules (VM0007) developed by Avoided Deforestation Partners which can be found on the VCS website by clicking here.
